After all, there’s tons of shows on HGTV, you can google an image and get almost any product, or a similar product to whatever you’re searching for. You know you have to hire a contractor to do the work, and possibly an architect to draw things up. A designer feels optional, like a luxury, and a lot of people feel like it’s something you should just be able to do innately. The truth is, most people don’t remodel or build custom homes very often and all the decisions can be overwhelming and hard to manage. Not to mention all of the options that are available and need sorting through. Add in the discipline to maintain the look and feel you want in the end, and when to make those decisions to keep the project on time and on budget, it can be a lot.
