New Construction
Having our team in place at the earliest phase of the design process enables us to develop a strong working relationship with you, your architect and your builder to ensure seamless coordination and well executed design. We will be involved in every step of the process, from the first set of plans to the final punch list, to ensure the ultimate in fit and finish.
Remodeling
Updating your home (or part of it!) is a wonderful way to bring new life and functionality. With our many years of experience, we work within your budget and guide you through the remodeling process. Our creativity and resourcefulness help ensure that your home is transformed and customized into a well-planned and beautiful space.
While there are multiple ways to price a project, industry standard is generally about 20-25% of the job cost. Etage Interiors works on a flat fee basis, depending on the level of involvement and depth of services rendered, making it easy to budget your project and build in the fee.
Full Scale Design Process - What to Expect:
A paid 60-minute deep dive via zoom to discuss your project & get to know you. You’ll receive a customized design fee proposal after this call.
Once you’ve accepted our proposal and signed on with us you’ll meet our team & amazing trade partners. We arrange a day for the team and trades to visit you in your home and review the scope of work before we dive into the design process. Think of it as a meeting of the minds where no stone is left unturned.
You’ll join our design team via zoom where we present our initial design concepts, floorplans and preliminary project pricing for discussion. This is where we make sure we are all on the same page before diving into design selections and construction drawing packages.
Get ready to be blown away by all our unique and customized design selections. You’ll join us at the RHD studio to review the design of your “new” home. You’ll be presented with a drawings packaged file with millwork details, wall treatments, floorplans etc as well as physical samples of materials, fabric and more.
You get to sit back and relax now that all the big design decisions have been made. Our team places all the orders & manages their delivery and installation. We’ll liaise with the contractor and trades to ensure the design is being implemented as per our drawings. And of course, we communicate frequently to keep you in the loop!
This is where the magic happens. It’s the exciting moment when it all comes together and your inviting home comes to life. Our team styles your now magazine-worthy space to perfection inviting you home to enjoy it.
It’s time to wrap it all up with a tidy little bow. It’s never over till it’s over. We stay until the bitter end to ensure all outstanding items are completed. Our team reviews the completed space, reconciles any deficiencies and you are presented with your project binder including all the care & maintenance instructions for the future. And hopefully, we toast with a bit of bubbly!
On-Site & Virtual Color Consultations
Paint is the singular thing you can change to dramatically change the aesthetic of your home. Have you ever gone to the paint store, confident you’ve chosen correctly, and then as soon as it’s on the wall you realize you’ve made an epic mistake and have to start over again? Or you saw the perfect color in your neighbor’s house but it does not look the same in yours? Choosing the right color is not only critical to how you’re going to experience your home, but having a professional who understands how color works with light, and the psychological effect of color. Working with a color expert will eliminate the time and stress of choosing the right color. If you’re doing your own painting or hiring a painter, the color is the most important and stressful decision.
What you get: An in depth full color analysis and full size paint samples to really see the color before you get the paint on the wall. Save time and stress by having a professional select the right color for the atmosphere and aura you’re trying to bring to your home.
