Should You Hire a Designer?

I know where to get product, hire contractors, and keep them on schedule. I’ve got the connections and can get this handled.
I know what bothers me currently, and I know how to fix it
I can handle hiring contractors, but I’d like some reassurance that what I like will actually work
I understand how different surfaces will perform for my lifestyle - granite vs marble, hardwood vs LVP, tile vs stone
I know the look I like when I see it, and I'm sure I can recreate it with value engineered materials
I know where to put my money for the most impact
I know how to design my space for how we move through it
I am confident that the contractors I hire are of high quality and will also come back if anything goes wrong
I’m comfortable addressing an issue or problem with a contractor
I’m prepared to handle construction “surprises” like opening up a wall or floor and discovering something you never thought of needing to be repaired or replaced. Spoiler alert - every job has one or two!
I know when to make decisions in order to keep the job moving and on budget.
I know I want one or two things but I don’t know how to integrate that into a whole room/ house and make it look good.
I have no idea what I want, I just know I want it to feel a certain way (dramatic, cozy, warm, fresh, etc.)
I understand how light and lighting impacts colors
I understand how colors work together and how they can impact each other
I understand textures and how to blend them for the effect I want
I have the time to manage the job and contractors, deliveries, installations
